Pulse — Privacy Policy

Last updated October 24, 2026

Pulse is a media player app for Fire TV and other TV devices. It plays content from a service you choose to connect it to. Pulse itself includes no channels, movies or series and does not sell or provide any content or subscription. This page explains what information the app handles.

What the app sends to our server

When the app starts, it contacts our server (pulse4k.app) so we can give your device a short device code and tell the app which provider address has been set for it. The information sent is:

Like any website, our server and our hosting provider (Cloudflare) can see your IP address when your device connects, and may keep standard security logs.

What the app sends to your provider

To show your channels and videos, the app connects to the provider address set for your device and logs in with the random device identifier above. That connection, and what your provider does with it, is governed by your provider's own terms and privacy policy.

What we do not collect

Dealers

If you received Pulse through a dealer, that dealer can see your device code, the random device identifier and the subscription expiry date, and can set the provider address for your device. We do not give your information to anyone else.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep a device record only while it is in use. To have it deleted, email support@pulse4k.app with your device code. Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device.

Children

Pulse is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information about them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
